Mark's signature style is a melding of modernist art with clear architectural strokes and his photographic work reflects that.

He loves being in front of an audience and has the final responsibility for the Sassoon collections.

Under his artistic tenure, Sassoon has jumped ahead of the crowded 21st century fashion pack to stimulate and create a large following.

Under Mark's direction, the Sassoon creative team is, again, becoming a honed instrument to deftly carve out the future of hair fashion.

Mark started with Sassoon in the 1970s and worked/played with Christopher Brooker, Trevor Sorbie, Joseph Solomon, Tony Beckerman, and Leslie Cavandish - to name just a few of the immense talents crowded inside the London Sassoon.

He carries their entire body of work in his head and it literally pours from his hands today.

Mark draws much current inspiration from work with fashion designers, such as Parisian Yohji Yamamo, known for an avant-garde spirit in his clothing, and Hussein Chalayan, who has amassed many fashion awards in Britain and France.

In addition to his many responsibilities and projects, Mark still cuts hair at the main London Sassoon salon.
